Training, Health, and Fitness

Special Olympics Montana seeks to improve competitors’ health and performance not only through in-season training and competition, but also through the off-season pursuit of sufficient physical activity, nutrition, and hydration. With the use of the Resources and Training, Health, and Fitness Guides below, coaches and families have a place to start and information to utilize as they pursuit these goals.

Training, Health, and Fitness Guides and Resources

The Training, Health, and Fitness Guides, and Resources are designed to provide a starting place and assistance to coaches both for in-season and off-season activities related to overall training, health, and fitness. Included in these packets are health and fitness talks that you can have with your athletes, a warmup and stretching guide for the sport, and a sample practice plan to work off of for when you begin hosting practices!
