Cops will trade in their handcuffs for aprons this summer as local law enforcement officers raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Montana athletes.
The public is invited to attend and support their local Special Olympics Montana athletes as well as local law enforcement at multiple Tip-A-Cop ® events hosted at MacKenzie River Pizza.
Law Enforcement Officers and Special Olympics Montana athletes will work as celebrity waiters and their tips will benefit Special Olympics Montana in their local communities and across the state. Special Olympics is a non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition to more than 3,000 people with intellectual disabilities in Montana.
The first Tip-A-Cop® with MacKenzie River Pizza was held in 2011 in Whitefish, Montana. Since then, the event has expanded into both Kalispell locations, Bozeman, Belgrade, Helena, Great Falls, Butte, Missoula and both locations in Billings.
