Yellowstone Valley Area Games

Billings is hosting the Yellowstone Valley Area Special Olympics Games, which kicks off at Lockwood High School on May 4th. Opening ceremonies with local law enforcement representatives and other community partners begins at 9:30 a.m.  Approximately 400 athletes and Unified Partners will be competing in track & field, swimming, cycling, soccer, bocce, gymnastics, and golf. These athletes have been training for at least 2 months prior to this event and are ready to show their stuff. Area students and families are expected to turn out in force, many wearing school colors or custom t-shirts to support their favorite athletes.

The Games include:
• Gymnastics – Saturday, April 29th (Magic City Gymnastics)
• Cycling – Sunday, April 30th (Daylis Stadium)
• Swimming – Sunday, April 30th (MSU-B)
• Track, MATP, Soccer – Thursday, May 4th (Lockwood High School)
• Bocce – Saturday, May 6th (Lockwood Football Stadium)
• Golf – Sunday, May 7th (Par 3 Golf Course)

Teams Participating – Billings Adults, Billings Schools, Red Lodge, Lockwood, Roundup, Joliet, Roberts, Special K Ranch and Miles City.
