Charles Russell Area Spring Games

Great Falls is hosting the Charles Russell Area Special Olympics Games, which kicks off at Great Falls High School on April 26th. Opening ceremonies with local law enforcement representatives and other community partners begin at 9:00 a.m. Approximately 300 athletes and Unified Partners will be competing in athletics, bocce, and gymnastics. These athletes have been training for at least two months prior to this event and are ready to show their stuff. Area students and families are expected to turn out in force, many wearing school colors or custom t-shirts to support their favorite athletes.

Friday, April 26th

Great Falls High School Memorial Stadium, 1900 2nd Ave S.

April 26th Schedule:

1. 9:00am – Opening Ceremony

2. 9:30am –Competition Begins (Athletics wheelchair races, jumps, walking, running events & Traditional Bocce Doubles)

3. 11:30am – Lunch Break

4. 12:30pm – Competition Resumes (Athletics throwing events & balance of Traditional Bocce Doubles/Unified Bocce Doubles)

5. 3:30pm – Gymnastics Competition @ GF Gymnastic Academy

Teams Participating – Great Falls Lions, Great Falls Hornets, Great Falls Wild Hornets, Havre Blue Ponies, Cut Bank Schools, Central Montana Eagles, Shelby Life, Helena Halos, and West Mont Fighting Dragons.
