Special Olympics Montana Coronavirus Update 3-5-2020

March 5, 2020

To our athletes, volunteers, families and friends of Special Olympics Montana:

We want to update you regarding the news about the Coronavirus and the impact to Special Olympics Montana. (Link to the CDC information page)

Your health and safety are top priority, as well as, the health and safety of the Special Olympics Montana community.  If you do not feel well, please stay at home. Please do not attend a Special Olympics Montana event.  Wash your hands often, use hand sanitizer, avoid high-fives, avoid handshakes, and avoid contact with your face.  (Please refer to this page of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention website for all tips.)

At this time, we are monitoring and following the recommendations provided by Special Olympics International and the City-County Health Departments. As more information comes to light, we will update you regarding SOMT events and programming, for now, events will continue as scheduled.

Sincerely,

Rhonda McCarty, CEO
Special Olympics Montana
