The Polar Bare Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics Montana athletes by taking an icy dip into freezing waters.

 

Don't be left out of the cold!  REGISTER TODAY for the 2011 Plunge and let the fun begin.  All it takes is at least $125 in pledges and nerves of steel.

Too Chicken to PlungeToo Chicken to Plunge?  No Problem...you can still be a part of the fun!  Simply register as a chicken and collect pledges just like a regular plunger; except no going into the icy water.  (sorry only plungers receive incentives.)

 
Be a Recruiter....Bring a Newbie...Win an iPad

If you are a veteran plunger, you can earn chances to win an iPad by recruiting new plungers.  The more you recruit, the more chances you have!  The recruit must be new to the Polar Bare Plunge.

Newbie raises up to $125, Veteran earns 1 chance
Newbie raises $126-$500, Veteran earns 2 chances
Newbie raises $501-$1500, Veteran earns 3 chances
Newbie raises $1501 or more, Veteran earns 4 chances

Fundraising

After you register online, create your own personal fundraising webpage so that family, friends and co-workers can donate to you online.  You can also download the pledge form to collect pledges offline and track your progress.  $125 minimum in order to take the plunge.  Please collect pledges before the plunge.

Plunge Tips

Bring a friend.  Friends don't let friends plunge alone!

-

Protect your feet with old tennis shoes or water shoes and bring gloves for your paws!

-

Bring a robe to dry your wet fur.  You can also wear it while you wait to plunge.

-

Bring loose fitting clothes to change into after you plunge.

-

$125 minimum in order to plunge.

-

Absolutely NO diving, water is shallow.

-

No wet suits or bulky clothing.
