This year we had the pleasure of working with Tommy Moe, US Olympic Gold Medal Skier.  Tommy partnered with SOMT athletes to support this year's raffle!  What a boost to the program.  Montana's six Special Olympics World Winter Games athletes traveled to Jackson Hole, WY in October for photos and promotional footage of this year's AT&T/Chevy Raffle.  Our thanks to Tommy for his Jackson Hole hospitality and genuine consideration for SOMT athletes.

Raffle Drawing

Drawing for the 2001 AT&T/Chevy raffle was held at Closing Ceremonies during the 2001 State Summer Games in Billings.  The winning ticket was drawn by SOMT athletes, Wade Casey, Brandy Peterson, Michelle Hardy.  Over 900 SOMT athletes and friends cheered with excitement as Taylor Brown of Northern Broadcasting announced Deb the winner and called to let her know she had a new truck illegally parked at Daylis Stadium.  She was speechless!

Livingston Woman Wins SOMT Raffle!

Surety Title Company of Helena won the $500 SUPERVALU shopping spree!  Kerrie Sheets and Vivienne Shockley, SOMT athletes, drew the winning ticket on March 21, 2001 at the Heights County Market in Billings during their BBQ and Hoopfest.  The shopping spree was donated by SUPERVALU of Montana, which supplies County Market and Tidyman's across the state.  Surety Title owner, John Barker, generously donated the $500 back to SOMT athletes.  Pictured are Ken Dove of the SOMT Area Management Team, Kerrie Sheets, Bob Roscoe from Frontier Chevrolet, Ron Moore from Heights County Market, Shari Woodard from County Market and Vivienne Shockley.
