Dear Families and Friends of Special Olympics Montana Athletes:

Many wonderful and exciting events happen in and around the Games. We want you to have a front row seat and all the information you need to help make your visit to the Games as enjoyable and rewarding as it can be. To help, we have noted specific information designed to help you navigate Billings, the competition venues and other Games locations.

Events you won't want to miss:

Opening Ceremonies: Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00pm in the Metra. Plan to arrive early because the athletes begin entering the stadium and taking their seats at 6:10pm. Cheer your athletes on during the high-energy pre-show where athletes and teams make their grand entrance.

Families/Friends Dinner: Thursday May 17 from 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. at St. Vincent's Hospital/Mansfield Center. Come and celebrate with other friends and family members and enjoy some great food and a short program to rejoice together in the role that friends and families play in the success of the athletes!

Family and Friends Hospitality Center: Refreshments, internet computers, comfy furniture…a place to gather and to rest. The Family and Friends Hospitality Center will be located in the Bair Family Student Center. Open 9:00am until 3:30pm Wednesday and Thursday during the Games.

Nerve Center:  Located in the main lobby of the Bair Family Student Center at Rocky Mountain College. Open daily 7:30am - 5:00pm. Competition schedules, athlete information, arrival and departure point for free shuttle service.

Courtesy Shuttle Van Service: Check in at the Nerve Center for specific pick up/drop off locations.

Closing Ceremonies: Friday, May 18 from 8:00am - 9:00am at Laurel High School. Join the closing celebration where the torch is ceremoniously extinguished until the 2012 State Basketball Tournament in Great Falls. And don't miss the exciting conclusion of the Optimum/Chevy Raffle. Someone will win a new Chevy Silverado truck and other great prizes.
