(Bozeman, Montana) An inspiring "Call to Action" led by local Special Olympics
athletes promises to shake the walls of MSU's Shroyer Gym on Monday, March
9th. The event kicks off at 10am, peaking with an emotionally charged address to
the community aimed to surface and inspire volunteers vital to the success of the
upcoming Special Olympics Montana State Summer Games 2009. The press
conference will also highlight the 2009 marketing campaign with a ceremony to
unveil the game's powerful logo and theme, specifically developed for the Special
Olympics Montana State Summer Games 2009. Several interview opportunities
exist to talk with both highly enthusiastic Special Olympics athletes and guest
speakers including Bob Norbie, the dedicated and charismatic President and
CEO of Special Olympics Montana.

About the 2009 Special Olympics Montana
State Summer Games:
1,000 athletes and 450 coaches from 75 teams will gather in Bozeman to compete in fourteen different sports over a three-day period. Competitions will include athletics (track & field), bowling, equestrian, bocce, gymnastics, cycling, golf, powerlifting, soccer, aquatics, triathlon, horseshoe pitching and kayaking. In addition, motor activities training for lower functioning individuals will also be offered.
