Coaches Level 1Training Now Online
All coaches and chaperones are required to complete Level I training. This is a one-time only requirement which, up until now, has been available on a video or DVD.
Now it’s on-line! There are two parts that must be taken and both include a test.

The Protective Behaviors test can be taken through Special Olympics Incorporated's web site. It must be completely correct before the system will allow you to sign off. The State Office is automatically notified when an individual has successfully completed the training. Protective Behaviors has been on-line for several months.
Now, there is a General Orientation training designed specifically for Special Olympics Montana. This also includes a test that must be downloaded and returned to the State Office by e-mail, fax or mail. When both trainings are completed, the individual will be entered into our system as a Level I coach.
As a reminder, Level I training is a Special Olympics, Inc., requirement. Those coaches who prefer to complete this training with the video or DVD may still do so by contacting :
