Montana
Law Enforcement Torch Run Takes Home International Awards
The
2005 International LETR Executive Council awarded the
Montana Torch Run during the 2005 International Torch Run
Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A plaque was
awarded for 2nd Place for the Highest per Capita
Fundraising Program during the Awards Luncheon on
Friday, October 28. LETR Athlete Ambassador and
Special Olympics Montana athlete, Tawny Gray accepted the
award on behalf of the Montana Torch Run program. The
Montana Torch Run has taken home several international
awards since 1999. The Montana Torch Run also won 2nd Place in the
International Association Chiefs of Police (IACP)
