Use this form to nominate someone for NEXT year!
It is never too early to recognize outstanding contributions to the Special Olympics movement.
Nomination Guidelines
Distinguished Service
Awards given by Special Olympics Montana provide a unique and important
opportunity to recognize outstanding members of the SOMT community. Anyone who
has participated in Special Olympics Montana is eligible for consideration.
The judges look for those nominees who have made a significant impact on the
quality of SOMT. Award recipients are recognized at the Distinguished
Service Awards Celebration to be held in Great Falls, usually the last Saturday in September.
(See description of Categories.)

Those submitting
nominations are encouraged to include a detailed narrative describing the
nominee's distinguished service and length of personal commitment to SOMT.

Supporting
documents may take the form of letters of recommendation, newspaper clippings,

accepted. Videotapes will be
accepted but must be cued and limited to eight minutes. Nomination deadline for Athlete of the Year is July 9, 2010.
