Each
year Special Olympics Montana holds three State-wide Games that
allow athletes to showcase their training and talent, and share
their joy.
 State
Winter Games
The State
Winter Games are held each Winter and feature approximately
200 athletes who compete in 3 Olympic-type Winter Sports.
The 2007 State Winter Games will be held March
4-6 at Big Mountain Resort in Whitefish Montana.

State Summer Games
 The
State Summer Games
have been a signature event for Special Olympics Montana
since the program's inception in 1970.From 2006 -2008,
the State Summer Games will be held in Great Falls. The
2007 State Summer Games will take place in mid May
and will feature nearly 1,000 athletes who will compete
in 11 Olympic-type sports.

 State
Basketball Tournament
The State Basketball
Tournament is held each fall and showcases the talents
of over 500 athletes and 50 teams from across Montana.
The Tournament will be held November 2-4 in Helena 2006.

is indifferent to athletes with intellectual disabilities, sponsors
