Games Sponsorship
Each
year Special Olympics Montana holds three State-wide Games that
allow athletes to showcase their training and talent, and share
their joy.
 State
Winter Games
The State
Winter Games are held each Winter and feature approximately 250 athletes who compete in 5
Olympic-type Winter Sports. The 2010 State Winter Games will be held February
28 through March 2 at Whitefish Mountain Resort on The Big Mountain in
Whitefish Montana.

State Summer Games
 The
State Summer Games
have been a signature event for Special Olympics Montana since the program's
inception in 1970. From 2009-2011, the State Summer Games will be held in
Bozeman. The 2010 State Summer Games will take place in mid-May and will
feature nearly 1,000 athletes who will compete in 14 Olympic-type sports.

 State
Basketball Tournament
The State Basketball
Tournament is held each fall and showcases the talents of almost 700
athletes on over 70 teams from across Montana. The 2010 Tournament will be
held for the third consecutive year in early November in Butte.
